Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu invoked divine assistance Monday for a resolution of Israel's housing crisis. At a meeting of Likud MKs Monday afternoon, Netanyahu said that Israel was facing a great challenge in providing housing for all those seeking apartments, and that “with the help of G-d” the country would find a solution.
The government earlier announced plans to build nearly 7,000 housing units, but Netanyahu said he realized that many more were needed. “We are working to find additional solutions. We must keep some things as a surprise as well. We will resolve the housing crisis. We will be able to bring thousands of units to market, with G-d's help,” he said.
