Campaign to Enforce Child Labor Laws During the Summer

Dozens of labor inspectors from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Labor are undertaking a campaign to enforce child labor laws during the summer vacation from school.

Among other things, the inspectors are making sure that only those youths aged 16 and older work as late as midnight, when the employer must see to it that the young emplyees are taken home. Employers who deviate from this will be high on the enforcement priority list.
