Student groups on Sunday are set to join what has become a mass protest against the high cost of housing in Tel Aviv. Over the weekend, hundreds more people joined a tent city protest on Tony Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, turning the stately street into a virtual refugee camp. The protesters are demanding action on developing a government policy to lower the cost of housing in the center of the country.

Students will join the main protest in Tel Aviv, and construct additional tent cities in other locations, including Be'ersheva, Beit Berl College (near Kfar Sava) and Kiryat Shmona, a student spokesperson said.
