Unilever Israel announced on Thursday that it will relocate its Bagel Bagel pretzel factory from the Barkan Industrial area in Samaria to the northern Israeli city of Tzfat, next to its Vered Hagalil chocolate factory. Development of the site is to begin in a few days and generate 150 jobs, with the production line slated to go operational in April.
Unilever said the decision, which followed four months of marathon talks with officials in Tzfat, was a result of logistical considerations without any regard for politics.
