Prime Minister Binymin Netanyahu authorized the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry to issue 1,250 work permits for Arabs from PA controlled areas to work in agriculture. This is in addition to permits that were issued last week for PA Arab workers for the construction industry.

In a statement, the Ministry said that hiring PA Arabs in agriculture was a positive move, to help the PA's economy, and to reduce the manpower shortage among farmers.
