Two hundred and forty five new immigrants from the U.S. will arrive Sunday Tuesday on the first Nefesh B'Nefesh flight this summer. The immigrants will be received in a special ceremony at Terminal One at Ben Gurion Airport, with hundreds of officials and guests welcoming them. Among the officials will be Absorption Minister Sofa Landver, and Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky.
Nefesh B'Nefesh plans to bring some 5,000 immigrants from the U.S., Canada and Britain this year. This is the tenth year Nefesh B'Nefesh has been in existence, and so far the organization has brought some 30,000 immigrants to Israel.
