Protesters plan to take to the streets in Egypt on Friday to call for faster reforms, and for punishment of former president Hosni Mubarak and his accomplices. Activists have accused Mubarak and other top officials of murder in the deaths of hundreds of people who were killed by police earlier in the year while protesting the regime.

The Muslim Brotherhood will take part in Friday's rallies. The formerly illegal Islamist party is planning to run for half of the seats in Parliament in the upcoming national elections.
