Interior Minister Eli Yishai said Tuesday morning that he is opposed to the transfer of 84 bodies of terrorists buried in Israel to the Palestinian Authority.
The Shas party chairman asked, "Is it conceivable to make such a sweeping gesture while [abducted soldier] Gilad [Shalit] gets no gesture?" He continued, "We should hold on to anything which has the power to shorten Gilad's captivity, even by a minute."
