Following healthy gains on Sunday, most of the indices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange started Monday with modest losses. The Tel Aviv composite index was down .06 percent at 1,129.14, reflecting the activity of the TA 100, which opened at 1,141.07, also down .06 percent.
Biomed stocks were down .12 percent at 818.50, with the other technology issues starting at 286.90, down .32 percent. The media/communications index was down .52 percent at 1,044.72. On the positive side, the oil and natural gas index was up .47 percent at 1,203.12.
