The third of Israel's three major dairy companies has announced that it will reduce the price of cottage cheese. Tara follows Tnuva and Strauss, which also stated Wednesday that they would slash the price of the cheese.

The price cut follows a consumer protest against high food prices that began with a boycott of cottage cheese. Boycott organizers have called on the public to continue the protest against high prices in the food market.
