Report: Terrorist Prisoners Own Cellphones

A report on Israel’s Channel 2 News Monday revealed that many terrorist prisoners who are serving time in Israel’s prisons own mobile phones and keep in touch with the outside world, something which is contrary to instructions.

In an interview with a Channel 2 News reporter, the prisoners complained about the blocking of television channels. “Netanyahu said that we have TVs, but we have blocked channels - we cannot watch Al-Jazeera, although they are allowed to broadcast from Israel. They think they incite us,” the prisoners said.

Asked whether in fact the conditions of their imprisonment have worsened, the prisoners replied, “So far it has not happened, but the atmosphere in the prison is not simple and many people are worried.”
