Ilan Grapel Allowed to Speak with Parents

Ilan Grapel, the Israeli resident of the United States arrested in Egypt on alleged espionage charges was allowed a 50-minute telephone conversation with his parents, who live in America, according to a report in Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram.
The report mentioned that Grapel informed his parents that "he has not been harmed and was legally arrested after an arrest warrant was filed against him by the attorney general."
