Immigrant Teen Crime Declining but Relatively Bad

The crime rate among immigrant youths is twice as high as the rate among youth from veteran Israeli families, according to a report prepared by the Knesset Information and Research Center for a hearing by the Immigration and Absorption Committee.

The report said that the crime rate among immigrant youth declined from 22.4 percent in 2005 to 13.2 percent in 2010.
