An Afghan official reported on Wednesday that eight people have been killed and four wounded in a suicide attack in the northeastern Kapisa province.
Provincial spokesman Halim Ayar said the attacker blew himself up about 200 meters from the office of Governor Azizul Rahman Tawab on Wednesday. Ayar says four of the dead were police officers and four were civilians. All the wounded were civilians.
