More than 25 mayors from around the world have confirmed that they will be attending Israel's International Mayors Conference, which starts Sunday evening in Jerusalem and runs through Tuesday. Hi-tech, clean-tech and education are the focus of the agenda.
The conference will include a panel on the use of technology in education with Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar and Dr. Yossi Ben Dov, CEO of Time To Know, a visit to Bialik-Rogzin School, whose absorption of children of foreign workers was featured in the Academy Award winning film "Strangers No More" and a briefing at Rambam Medical Center's state-of-the-art underground parking garage, which can be converted in to a war-time emergency room in less than three hours.
