Gila Gamliel, the deputy minister in charge of the status of women and youth affairs in the Prime Minister's Office, said Thursday that she hopes the construction reality in the Judean city of Efrat will change soon.
During a visit to the city, during which she met with youth leaders, the Likud lawmaker was told by Mayor Oded Revivi that, "One of the reasons there aren't youth in the community is that there is no construction in the wake of the [government ordered] freeze. It's absurd that there is such a significant group of hundreds of youth who contribute to the army and the state. They have no place to return to." Gamliel agreed that the situation was really frustrating.
