IDF Beefs Up Security at Borders

The IDF has beefed up security at borders, checkpoints, and at sensitive sites in preparation for possible violence by Arabs who have declared that they will attempt to march on Israeli cities on the 44th anniversary of the 1967 Six Day War. The IDF is also preparing for possible other tactics that Arabs may use in order to engender conflict.

Reports said that Arabs living in Israel had cancelled plans to hold protests Sunday. Meanwhile, the Lebanese army said it was closing off border areas in order to prevent an attempted breach of the border by Arabs, as occurred several weeks ago.
