The Ofer brothers did not break the law even if they did dock ships in Iranian ports, former Mossad head Meir Dagan said Wednesday. “There is no law saying you cannot dock in Iran,” said Dagan.
Dagan added that he is not “the Ofer family defender,” but is speaking out due to concern for the state of Israel.
The Ofer brothers shipping company is accused of selling an oil tanker to Iran and docking ships at Iranian ports. Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein is looking into the matter.
