Kadima head Tsipi Livni attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at Monday's meeting of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. Addressing Netanyahu, Livni said that “you know how to speak well, but you do not know how to get the world to support Israel. Even worse, you have caused a deterioration in our national and strategic interests. The stronger your speeches, the more support Israel loses.”
When Kadima left power, Livni said, “we left you a world that supported us and excellent relations with the United States, no support in the world for the Palestinian 'right of return,' a weak Hamas that the world delegitimized, and Quartet conditions that were written in Jerusalem by us. Today you have wasted all this, especially the American commitment to Israel. Even Hamas is getting legitimacy,” she said.
