A member of the Lebanese parliament said Sunday that Hizbullah terrorists were helping Syria put down the anti-government protests in Syria. The parliamentarian made the comment in an interview with a Lebanese radio station. He added that the Lebanese army was aware of Hizbullah's activities, but was unable to do anything to stop it.

The parliamentarian said that Syrian troops were increasingly crossing the border and violating the country's sovereignty in pursuit of Syrian refugees who were escaping to Lebanon. In addition, he said, Hizbullah was working in Lebanon to prevent groups from organizing to help Syrian protestors.
