Commander Eshkol Shukrun of the Golan Brigade and three Israeli civilians were lightly wounded by rocks thrown at them in the Golan Druze town of Majdal Shams on Sunday.
Despite his wounds, Colonel Shukrun continued to command his troops, who worked to disperse Syrian demonstrators who infiltrated into Israeli territory.
