The Palestinian Authority's central bureau of statistics said Thursday that the number of Arabs whose families lived in the British Mandate of Palestine in 1948 has grown to 11 million. The bureau's manager said, "The number of Palestinians living in historical Palestine [within the 1949 cease-fire lines, Gaza, Judea and Samaria - ed.] stands at 5.5 million, compared to the number of Jews, which comes to 5.7 million."

He added that by 2020, the number of Arabs will reach 7.2 million while the number of Jews will be 6.7 million. It should be noted that Israeli researchers examined PA data in the past and found forgeries and innacuraccies. Arabs who died or left the area were not crossed off the list, as if they still live here.
