United States President Barack Obama may give a major speech on Middle East policy as soon as next week, officials said Wednesday. Obama's speech, which would shortly follow the assassination of arch-terrorist Osama Bin Laden, is expected to dress recent upheavals in the Arab world.

It is not clear if the speech will also address Israel's conflict with the Palestinian Authority. The PA's recent decision to reunite with Hamas has complicated matters for the U.S., which recognizes Hamas as a terrorist organization.
