Junior staff in Tel Aviv University's social sciences department are planning a two-hour strike for Thursday. The strike will begin at noon; during the strike, they will not give classes or run review sessions.
Those who plan to strike – primarily students studying for a Masters or Doctorate – say they continue to suffer from job insecurity, despite talk of a planned reform in higher education.
