Rebels in Libya claimed on Monday that they killed 57 of leader Muammar Qaddafi’s soldiers and destroyed 17 military vehicles in a shootout that took place on Monday in the city of Ajdabiya.
One of the rebel commanders told the Al Jazeera network that two of his men were killed during the shootout and added that the Libyan troops were led by one of Qaddafi’s sons.
