Chairman Yossi Weiss of the Association of Tour Guides in Israel called on the Tourism Ministry Thursday to stop issuing permits to Palestinian Authority (PA) tour guides. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Weiss gave a number of instances of anti-Israeli rhetoric dispensed by the guides, including accusations that Israel treats the Arabs the way the Nazis treated the Jews and that the only thing to stand on the Temple Mount was a mosque. Weiss warned that instead of becoming ambassadors for Israel, the guests become enemies after being given slanted information.

The Tourism Ministry responded by saying the Paris Agreement between Israel and the PA has allowed 42 PA tour guides to guide tours in Israel for the last five years.
