54% of Egyptians Want to Cancel Israel Treaty

According to a new survey, taken in recent weeks, 54 percent of Egyptians are interested in cancelling the Camp David peace treaty with Israel, Channel 2 television reported. With 10 percent expressing no opinion, 36 percent said it was important to maintain the treaty.

Following the Mubarak regime, 62 percent of those surveyed said they wanted most of the country's laws to be identical to those of the Quran while 27 percent said it was important to run the state in accordance with the principles and values of Islam.
