Dozens of people, including foreign tourists, took a tour on Thursday of the Maoz Esther outpost which is located near the community of Kochav Hashachar in the Binyamin region. The visitors were very impressed to hear that despite the difficult conditions, the residents do not give up living there.

The visitors toured a house built of concrete as well as the synagogue of Maoz Esther, named Shirat Yehonadav (Yehonadav’s Song) after Yehonadav Hirschfeld, a resident of Kochav Hashachar who was killed in the 2008 massacre in the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva in Jerusalem.
