Israel has opened a new hiking trail aimed at attracting Christian pilgrims. The trail leads through the Galilee, and includes several sites central to the Christian religion.

The route has been dubbed the Gospel Trail.

Several hundred thousand Christians visit Israel each year for religious reasons.
