Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday during his meeting with Noam and Aviva Shalit, parents of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shaliat, that he has appointed Mossad executive David Meidan as the Prime Minister’s special envoy regarding Gilad.
Meidan will replace Hagai Hadas, who will leave the post soon after two years.
