President Shimon Peres is scheduled to meet Friday with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon of the United Nations.
On the agenda is the Goldstone report on the Cast Lead counter-terror operation in Gaza at the end of 2008 and the start of 2009. Despite UN claims that it cannot be done, the president will ask that the report be cancelled. He will also ask the world body to publicly distance itself from the document.
