Public Safety Minister Yitzchak Aharonovich ordered the breakup, Sunday evening, of the Igud Arim (Cities Union) Council for Firefighting in Be'er Sheva and the naming of an appointed committee to take its place.
In doing so, the minister adopted an Interior Ministry report which said that Igud Arim was not fulfilling its duties from an operational, functional and fiscal point of view.
