Israel's farmers are very satisfied with the rains that fell this past winter in Israel.

Giora Mishol, a farmer from Kfar Mordechai, told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew website on Wednesday of the wheat which reached new heights this year, the likes of which he cannot remember for years.

Despite the joy, Mishol noted that the amounts of rain that fell were not great. "Usually the average per year is 450 mm, and this year we received only 350 mm," he said. "The orchards received theirs but we still expect some more rain in April. If we get two weeks of rain it would be great and would save us from spring irrigation."
