International computer maker Dell officially opened a new research and development center in Israel on Wednesday, and plans to hire dozens of workers in the coming months, the company said. Dell in 2010 purchased Israeli startup Exanet, and developed the R&D center based on the assets of that company.
Currently, the center employs 70 people, but Dell plans to at least double that number in the coming year, company officials said. Dell is the world's number 2 computer maker.
