Pro-Qaddafi protesters in Cairo tried to attack UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday, reports from Cairo said. Ban was leaving a meeting with Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa and was already in his car when a mob of 20-30 people tried to block the road, chanting "Down, down with the U.S. and Italy."
Police rushed in to clear the mob, and Ban was able to escape unharmed, the reports said.
