NYT Reporters Missing in Libya
Four New York Times reporters are missing in Libya, the paper reported Wednesday. The reporters lost contact after Muammar Qaddafi's forced seized the port city of Ajdabiya, which had been under rebel control.
Libyan officials said they would attempt to locate the four, and would release them if they are being held captive. “We are grateful to the Libyan government for their assurance that if our journalists were captured they would be released promptly and unharmed,” said editor Bill Keller.
