Minister for Regional Development Silvan Shalom (Likud) has called for the death penalty to be carried out against those responsible for the Itamar attack Friday night during which five members of the Fogel family - Udi, Ruth, Elad, Yoav and Hadas - were murdered.

The minister made his statements during the Negev Conference in Eilat.
