The public protest over Channel Two's decision to broadcast the 'Big Brother' program as usual on Saturday night despite the massacre in Itamar continues. Following a demand by MK Michael Ben-Ari to take action against the Second Broadcasting Authority, Ilan Gal-Dor of the Gesher Foundation also responded strongly to the decision.
"Last night 'Big Brother' aired as planned," wrote Gal-Dor. "At that time everyone was finding out about the murder of the family in Itamar. My impression was that an entire country cannot stop the tears over the cold-blooded murder."
Gal-Dor added that "The blood of the dead was still bubbling but Channel Two still chose to broadcast 'Big Brother'??? Are there two different families of Israel? Channel Two seems to feel that the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria are not its siblings, otherwise I cannot understand the decision to continue broadcasting 'Big Brother'."
