Speaking Monday night, Muammar Qaddafi's son, Sa'adi Qaddafi, said that his father needed to remain in power as leader of Libya if the country were to survive. In an interview on the Al-Arabiya satellite channel, the younger Qaddafi said that without his father, Libya would become another Somalia, and the various tribes would go to war with each other.
