The Supreme Court is expected to rule soon on an appeal by reserve soldiers of a Tel Aviv District Court decision against them in their libel action against director Mohamed Bakri for his film "Jenin, Jenin", which accused soldiers of a massacre in the Samarian Palestinian Authority city during the Defensive Wall counterterror operation in 2002. Both sides rejected a Supreme Court proposal that Bakri apologize for the film.
Following the hearing, scuffles broke out between Bakri supporters and the reserve soldiers. High Court security cleared the courtroom to restore order.
