The Egyptian military leadership is considering easing the country's closure of Gaza, according to Egypt's ambassador to the Palestinian Authority.
Ambassador Yasser Othman explained that no changes are planned for the immediate future, but there are "calls" to open border crossings. He said the steps will be considered when the region quiets down.
