Sirhan Sirhan, the Arab-Israeli who assassinated Senator Robert Kennedy in 1968 has applied for amnesty. His lawyer, William Pepper say he is no longer any type of threat and committed the murder under hypnosis.

Sirhan is an Arab Christian who was born in Jerusalem. He wrote in his diary at the time that he assassinated Kennedy because was angry at Israel. The District Attorney in Los Angeles where Sirhan has been imprisoned for the past 43 years said he doubts he will grant the appeal.
