Gazans used an explosive device at the Karni Crossing along the border of Gaza and Israel in an apparent attempt to attack Israel Defense Force soldiers. Terrorists also fired a mortar shell at soldiers. The IDF returned fire. Unconfirmed Gaza sources say that 7 Gazans were injured.
