The World Zionist Organization has launched a new online campaign called iZionist.org.il. Pro-Israel activists and organizations from around the world can communicate with each other using the Facebook-like platform. The campaign was created by Eitan Ori Behar, the WZO's new director of the Center for Diaspora Communications & Countering Anti-Semitism. Members from the United States, Israel, Brazil, Turkey and other countries has already signed up to the social network. It is currently available in English, French and Spanish.
The WZO reports that this is the first time such a tool is being used to unite Zionist activitists from around the world to share ideas for events, demonstration, Hasbara and how to fight anti-Semitism.
iZionist.org.il is a joint project between the WZO's new Center for Diaspora Communications, the Department for Activities in Israel and Countering anti-Semitism headed by Yaakov Hagoel. and Ofer Laufman, the Chairman of the Department for Diaspora Activities.
