At a meeting of the Knesset Committee on Foreign Workers Monday, Committee chairman MK Ya'akov Katz (Ketzaleh) said that while the Interior and Justice ministries have officially decided not to enforce laws against employing illegal refugees in the private market in Israel, “we demand that government offices at least agree not to directly or indirectly in their own offices, including via manpower agencies.

“Certainly the state cannot use illegal foreign workers to enforce its own laws and carry out its own policy decisions,” Ketzaleh said.
