Tunisia on Tuesday officially ended its nighttime curfew, but officials said that the country's state of emergency would continue for an indefinite period. The curfew was imposed last month in the wake of the mass demonstrations that toppled the previous regime of former President Ben Ali.
Meanwhile, Italy and Tunisia agreed Monday to work together to prevent the migration of Tunisians to Europe, via Italy.
