Outgoing spokesman Robert Gibbs of the United States Department of State said Monday evening that Egypt faces a "bumpy" transition to democracy.
During a media briefing, Gibbs repeated U.S.insistence on significant change in Egypt, adding that the government in Cairo should "outline a series of steps and a timeline that the Egyptian people are comfortable with."
