U.S. President, Barack Obama, said during in an interview on Sunday with Fox News that he has not moderated his views following the Democrats' loss in November's congressional elections.

"I'm the same guy," Obama said. "My practical focus, my common-sense focus right now is how do we out-innovate, out-educate, out-build, out-compete the rest of the world?"

Obama also said that he is not offended when people say they hate him. "The people who dislike you don't know you. The folks who hate you, they don't know you," he said and added: "By the time you get here, you have to have had a pretty thick skin. If you didn't, then you probably wouldn't have gotten here."
