Egyptian reports Sunday said that the Egyptian army had begun taking extra security steps to protect the Suez Canal. According to the reports, a terror gang was planning an attack on the canal, the main waterway used by oil tankers transporting oil from the Persian Gulf to Europe and the east coast of the U.S. A bridge over the canal will be closed starting at 5PM Sunday.
