Demonstrators gathered in the Israeli-Arab city of Nazareth to protest against Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Reports say that about 200 attended. Among them were two Members of Knesset from the Balad party, Jamal Zahalka and Hanin Zoabi. MK Zahalka told Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that he supports the anti-government protesters in Egypt and other Arab countries and hopes that the Israeli government be changed as well.
